Empire Strikes a Mega Deal with Terex
Empire Crane Company in the USA has ordered 40 cranes
from Terex worth more than US$20 million.
The deal was signed at the ConExpo exhibition in Las Vegas last week. Among the cranes ordered is the new Roadmaster 9000 truck mounted crane.
The order also includes RT 100 and RT 130 rough terrain cranes as well as AC 350/6, AC 250-1, and AC 100/4L all terrain cranes, among other models.
Empire, based in New York with branches in Boston, Massachusetts and New Jersey, is a Terex distributor and offers sales, parts and service
in the north east USA.

we are feeling optimistic about the future. This 40 unit order will ensure that we are ready to provide the solutions that our
customers need, as soon as they need them," said Luke Lonergan, Empire Crane vice president.

Empire Crane Receives Two Awards for 2009 Sales
Preceding January's AED Conference
in San Antonio, Texas, Terex Cranes held their third annual dealer conference to discuss the future, and award exemplary distributors for outstanding
work in 2009.
With the entire Terex Crane delaer network in attendance, Empire Crane's continued commitment to the Terex product once again earned them a top award
for crane sales, as well as special recognition for outstanding parts support, an award new to 2010. There to present the awards were Roger Jones
of Terex Parts and Service, President of Terex Cranes Rick Nichols, Vice President Marco Gentilini, and the Eastern Regional Business Manager Sam Meroney.
"When we received the sales award for '08, we knew that if we were up here for 2009, we will have really earned it," says Vice President of Empire
Crane, Luke Longergan. Judging by the number of cranes they have on order, Paul and Luke Lonergan, brothers and partners in ownership are certainly
determined to step up again at the 2011 conference.
"Based on 2010 optimism we have high expectations for the year ahead, and the commitment Terex Corporate has made to the crane division will make
our goals very attainable," says Luke Lonergan.
Roger Jones, Director of Product Support and Customer Satisfaction, had a new award to bestow this year for Outstanding Parts Support, which
Empire Crane proudly accepted. The decision to grant this acknowledgment was based on the commitment Empire Crane has made to be a full-line
Terex OEM past and present model distributor for the last thirty years. They pride themselves on having in excess of one million dollars of
Terex spares on their shelves at all times, and have increased business year after year for the past five years. Three additional members
of the parts team have been hired to support the parts sector of Empire Crane and to be sure that friendly, efficient service remains
their number one compliment.
According to Roger Jones of Terex, Bob Nardone, Deb Demarco, Gary Shavalier, Jonelle Burrows, Laura Jones, Lorraine Smith, and
Patty Nicholson of Empire Crane’s parts division have already earned numerous positive feedback comments from Terex customers. They
look forward to servicing all Terex Cranes in the years to come.
Empire Crane Co., LLC Continues to Expand Line Up!!!
Empire Crane is continuously expanding their vendors and manufacturers to meet their customer’s needs. This year they are proudly
representing the Manitex boom truck line-up. Manitex is introducing their new 50 ton model 50155-S to meet the growing demand from
customers in the New York City area for a mobile boom truck of that capacity.
They have also added to their offerings Orlaco Camera Systems and LSI load weight systems. Empire has installed the Orlaco
Cameras on numerous cranes working on the Metropolitan New York City Subway project to aid in the ease of operation of the cranes.
LSI load systems are certified for installation by the New York City Department of Buildings for use in cranes in the Metro area.

Empire was also awarded the newest award by Terex for Outstanding Parts Support.

commitment that Empire Crane has made to be a full-line Terex OEM past & present model distributor. According
to Roger Jones, Empire has earned numerous positive feedback comments from Terex customers & the entire parts
division looks forward to servicing Terex Cranes for years to come.
